Fly Away Birdie was co-written by talented duo Sara Gazarek and Josh Nelson. This setting adds a little bit of a gospel flair to emphasize the uplifting spirit of the lyric. Needs at least one solid female soloist, with optional gospel-like fills at the end. Available in SATB/SAB/SSA.
Demo recording by the Matfal Demo Choir (Jamie Shew, solo) – song was also recorded on the True North album ‘Voyage‘.
